To mighty douche "bag" - AU$60 = US$55 - by the counter
AU$50 = US$45 - those who pre-ordered a copy
Tomorrow's the day...
To Rice: No this is'nt the full game, it'll be released by the end of 2008 and/or early 2009.
The Full Version does offer damage-mode and probably some other special gameplay feature. If you can't wait for it then this is the alternative "available" demo version if you can still categorize this as such.
30+ more cars than Japanese title plus more features crammed-in.
Think this is another must-buy racing title. Have downloaded a demo trailer on XBoxlive and believe it's very impressive looking.
Great that it has in-car cam, damage-mode and other special features.
Also like the host of musclecars ( Camaro, Challenger etc... ) and LeMans racers ( Aston Martin DBR9 etc... ) in the game.
But think I might have to get the PS3 version.
That's AU$60 - if you pre-ordered a copy it's AU$50.
In the end the most important thing to look out for is "Gameplay", how every individual truly enjoyed being immeresed in the game.
Secondly innovations ( graphics, physics, special benchmarks that the title offers ) in gameplay and features that come with it are as important as well because this is what we all look-out for.
Think GranTurismo Prologue got most of it ticked... except...
Umm, so that's what's it all about., because just a few days/weeks? ago Sony had just put out an update.
Thought it was for GranTurismo 5: Prologue which is coming-out tomorrow... for most of us who pre-ordered a copy.
I believe both games have a great gameplay and merit values that makes them special.
*PGR4 and *GranTurismo 5: Prologue are games pushing the bounderies for others to follow ( PGR4 for weather physics, GranTurismo 5: Prologue for the most superior graphics and feature contents )
If it's just graphics then there is no other - it's GranTurismo 5: Prologue but the story does'nt end there right?
PGR4 cannot compete in the category of graphics ( which is also very...
Downloaded the demo version off the Japanese PS3 Store - am really impressed by it's deceiving simplicity and relaxing music with that of the echoing lady's voice-over.
You gotta be really be quick and good with the control pads or the stick figure will catch-up.
When will this be out for international release?
A must-buy.
Think a lot of Japanese would also be ordering the worldwide version... since it has more cars ( 30+ added ) and a host of other features.
They used Forza2 and an actual Mitsubishi Lancer EVO here in the Sydney Motorshow last year.
It's just that GranTurismo 5: Prologue is the flavour of the month ( a lot of month really, before the full version comes along... ) which is just rightly so that it gets a lot of air-time before the big release on March 27.
Maybe next time it would be GRID's turn in another motorshow, who knows...
Will also get GRID - reason that I like the line-up of racecars on offer, and it's got in-car cam.
Love all those newly revived musclecars - Camaro, Challenger... plus the Aston Martin DBR9 LeMans.
Have downloaded the trailer on XBox-live and is looking really good.
But will get the PS3 copy for sure.
GranTurismo is the *benchmark in graphics that others will have to follow... good news for us gamers' of driving/racing games that there are a lot of c...
D'oh... that's one creepy mother*#?!
Love the cartoons, but...
... now it's ingrained in my mind!!
You will definitely see damage-mode on the Full Version GranTurismo 5 for sure... and maybe some cool features as well.
It will be another good 9 to 10 months before you see what the surprises would be though.
So enjoy the moment for now, even w/out damage Ok, ok.
Me'thinks he wants to show to us the stunning background surroundings so he put it in external view guys, also how more can you seriously improve on brake sounds?, give it a break now you're being to ana...
You should take a listen to the tunes in the CD sountrack of the game, they're all kinda cool - mostly Japanese sythn musicians' - about 2,300 Yen = US$23.
Nice vid me likes the Citroen C4, and Mazda Atenza/or 6 very much. Once I'ved accumulated a lot of points though it's definitely the Audi R8 and Nissan GTR35 on my PS3 garage.
Talking about cars, where's the Bugatti Veyron? heard any rumours about a future download? Would love it if they can add this and other valid v...
Reason this Driving Force having no clutch is it's works only in *sequential mode ( pull-push, ala F1, WRC etc... )
And since the *HD Version and *GranTurismo 5: Prologue games are set-up that way, that is everyone's *only choice of option.
Unless you're also playing a few *PC games like *GTR2 which is 6-speed manual transmission enabled, this and only a few other racing titles where you're going to be using manual gears... hope Sony/Polyphony does implement manual trans...
Unless you're an addicted and frustrated pilot or really filthy rich for sure...
I'd rather spend it taking actual flight lessons though, might even save you extra money on other important things.
Pity it does'nt support manual transmission mode ( basically the same control set-up as the HD Version ), but hey a minor complaint here.
We're all kinda jealous here man. lol.
Am on a tight budget here, so might as well build a cheaper version myself.
One thing that's missing though is the GranTurismo 5: Prologue CD Soundtrack, which I got, sent by my cousin from Osaka - some really cool Japanese musicians' in there as well. Funky sythn sounds.

Revive the *Thrill Kill Series I say...
Have a banned copy for my PS1 and this could be a good time to maybe bring it back.
*** When you first read the title, it seems like a new Bloodrayne title, till you take a second glance and it's actually Bloodymare.
Not really a suitable track for an F1 car to be in for sure... but then it's nice to trial it out just the same.
Yes, is it 2 million points before you can avail of the Ferrari F1?
Also any Bugatti Veyron in the works for a future download?, rumours? talks?
Can anyone please also let Sony/Polyphony know they need to bring in the *Mazda Furai LeMans concept racer, *Nissan's Xanavi GTR35 Super GT 500, and the timeless *Porsche 928 in this Prologue game or probab...
Gears2 is great the others are umm... so-so.
We get tomorrow here in Autralia.
